Actor Solomon Akiyesi’s Marriage with Lilian Finally Crashes
The
hottest information making rounds in Nigerian movie industry is that
controversial actor Solomon Akiyesi, has gotten a divorce from his
second wife and mother of his daughter, Lilian. According to the
information gathered, the bride price he paid for Lilian was returned by
his father-in-law in a meeting they summoned in Port Harcourt. Solomon
allegedly though that the meeting summoned by his father-in-law was to
bring reconciliation between him and his angered wife, but the reverse
became the case when he was given back his bride price.
Sources
said Solomon who hurriedly honoured the meeting almost fainted when the
bride price was given to him on February 13, 2014. His estranged
father-in-law disclosed to him that his daughter was no longer
interested in staying married to him and thus they wanted to use the
opportunity to return the dowry. It was further revealed that the
controversial actor, who wife (Lilian) filed divorce against since last
year collected and pocketed his money.
Recall
that on April 13, 2013, the actor walked down the aisle with another
woman, Uloma without properly divorcing his second wife, Lilian. Lilian
who was three months pregnant then, went to the church and disrupted the
wedding.

Fathia Balogun's movie 'Torera' premiered at 10 Degrees Events Centre,
Oregun, Lagos Nigeria on Mon.Feb.24. Many actors from the Yoruba movie
industry, their family members, Fathia's mum and kids and the AGN
president, Ibinabo Fiberesima all graced the occasion. At the end, while
giving her vote of thanks, Fathia called out her children and showered
accolades on them.
"They have been my pillar of support, I love them die", she said. She also praised her mum.
Ok, so Fathia also announced that she prefers to be called 'Fathia' straight up and NOT 'aunty Fathia'!!!!

It
seems that Katy Perry has landed herself in hot water with her Muslim
fans. The US pop singer has come under fire for featuring what is being
viewed as a blasphemous scene in the music video for her latest single,
Dark Horse.
An
online petition has been launched by a British-Muslim fan demanding
that the video – in which a pendant featuring the name of Allah is seen
being burned – be removed from YouTube. At the time of publishing, the
petition had received 35,378 signatures.Dark Horse features Katy dressed as Katy-patra, the object of many pharaoh’s attention. Just over a minute into the video, the singer is seen zapping a man who is wearing the necklace.
This is not the first-time Katy has caused controversy with her art. Last November, the singer was accused of being racist after dressing as a Japanese geisha for the opening performance at the 2013 American Music Awards.
