Gov Wada to Kogi People: Be Patience, I’ll govern with conscience
Governor Wada who disclosed this in an interactive forum at the Glass House, Government House, Lokoja noted that a transformation programme is not in a very fast process. While responding to the need for the state to own an airport, Gov Wada said the state would build a airport when funds are avaliable, adding that such a project is capital-intensive, requring adequate preparation.
Speaking on the controversy surrounding the handling of the fund donated to the state during the last year’s flood disaster, he pointed out that the fund was handled transparently, maintaining that the records how the money was spent are avaliable.
On the suspended recruitment of teachers for the state secondary schools by the Teaching Service Commission (TSC), Gov Wada said that he didnot give directive for payment of any fee by applicants, stressing that, that was the way he directed a refunded
