Jennifer Hudson channels Joan Jett in the latest issue of V magazine. Swapping her usual glamour gowns for leather jackets and greasy hair, the vocal giant looks like a completely new woman. And not in a good way. The fashion forward diva looks like she walked straight out of an ’80s rock video and that’s a hard look for anyone to pull off.
In the accompanying interview, the “Where You At” songstress opens up about her much-anticipated third album, saying: “I really want to be an artist. I want to lift the people up, have fun, create a moment. I have my own visions that I want to bring to life.” Helping her achieve that lofty goal are producers Pharrell, Babyface and Timbaland. Sounds good to me.
